Spring is in the Air!

Make a new start with your new best friend!

Come meet our wonderful

adoptable dogs!

Elvis is ready for his new home!  He is an adorable older gentleman (about 7-8) poodle mix who still has tons of spunk.  He enjoys playing and walking, as well as lap sitting and cuddling.  He is a bit shy at first, but warms up to people very quickly. We do recommend a home with no small children, however, because he may get scared by smaller kids' sudden movements. Elvis might like a smaller dog friend, but appears to be afraid of the bigger ones -- probably comes from being stuck at the big scary shelter for weeks before we rescued him.  He would also do just fine as an only dog.
Come meet Elvis and let him steal your heart.

Our goals are quite simple:  to save as many animals as possible from being killed in America’s shelters.  More than 9000 animals are killed every day, which equates to more than 4 million each year.  This is an atrocious number.  If we all work together and do our part, this number can eventually be reduced to zero.

We will take in animals who have been abused, injured or are unwanted and find new forever homes for them.

We will educate the public on the plight of the above mentioned animals and make people aware of the need to spay and neuter animals to prevent more animals ending up in shelters.

We work hard to make sure that we take care of all of our pets here at Home Free Animal Rescue & Sanctuary. But, unfortunately we can't do it without people like you and your donations of time and money. So, if you ever feel like you want to be a part of our family and help some of the best animals around, check us out.
