THOSE WE HAVE LOST TOO SOON ARE WAITING FOR US AT THE RAINBOW BRIDGE
Charlie, another complete sweetheart, was lost this year as well. And he had the same mom as our sweet Teddy above. Charlie was another senior rescued from the Orange County Animal Shelter and adopted by Sarah. He spent the last year and a half of his life in luxury with a couple of siblings and a terrific mom, loved until the very end. We will miss you, Sweet Charlie!
Sonny was a sweet boy who loved life. He was a San Bernardino shelter survivor who was saved on his last day thanks to his wonderful foster mom, Laura, who stepped up for him and provided him with a loving home for the last few months of his life.
After Sonny's neuter surgery, he started having mobility trouble and eventually could not stand on his own at all. After many veterinary consults, it was discovered that Sonny had meningitis, that had invaded his spinal column and brain. Unfortunately, we had to make the devastating decision to help Sonny to the Rainbow Bridge where I'm sure his is waiting for those that loved him.
Teddy was rescued from the Orange County Shelter at about 12 years old. He was the sweetest and cutest little fluff ball. One of our supporters, Sarah, adopted him and we got him all the way to Montana with Pilots N' Paws, a great organization who will take dogs to new homes free if they have a pilot going in the general direction of that new home. Sarah gave Teddy the very best last 2 years of his life. She showed him nothing but love and I know that she was devastated when his little body just couldn't go on any longer. Teddy was a favorite around here and even tho we hadn't seen him for 2 years, we sure will miss seeing him on his social media posts and hearing about his life. So happy that he found Sarah so he could go out loved!
